Exciting opportunity for a Picker/Packer in the vibrant city of Austin, Texas! Our fast-paced warehouse is seeking dedicated individuals to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You'll be picking products from shelves and packaging them with care for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and retrieve items based on customer orders.
- Package products securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Conduct quality checks on picked items to ensure they are correct and undamaged.
- Use scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and clean warehouse floor.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and wear provided PPE.
- Support team members to achieve daily order fulfillment goals.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts.
- Contribute to the smooth flow of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring significant physical exertion, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Proficiency with warehouse technology (scanners, RF devices) is a plus.
