We are seeking dedicated and reliable Material Handlers to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials and products. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong work ethic and a desire to contribute to a fast-paced logistics environment. You will be trained on proper material handling techniques and equipment operation to ensure a safe and productive workflow. We are committed to providing a secure and supportive workplace, emphasizing safety protocols and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Successful candidates will demonstrate attention to detail, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities:
- Unload and load trucks, ensuring accurate inventory counts.
- Move materials and products to and from storage areas.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to instructions.
- Stage materials for outgoing shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical activity, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in basic math and inventory record-keeping.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to all safety procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations is beneficial.
