We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our dynamic team in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This is a crucial position within our logistics operation, ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. Your primary duties will involve reading order tickets, locating the correct products, and carefully packaging them for safe transit. You will be expected to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining high standards of accuracy and productivity. A strong commitment to safety protocols and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is essential. This role requires physical stamina, as you will be on your feet for extended periods and may be required to perform moderate lifting throughout your shift. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using a scanner or pick list.
- Pack items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during shipping.
- Verify order accuracy before packaging.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Meet daily picking and packing performance targets.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or order fulfillment experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform manual labor, including frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Reliable and punctual.
