Job Summary:
Join our dynamic logistics team as an Inventory Control Specialist in Orlando, Florida! We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to ensure the accuracy of our inventory records and contribute to the smooth operation of our warehouse. This role is crucial for maintaining optimal stock levels, preventing discrepancies, and supporting efficient order fulfillment. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating stock variances, and implementing corrective actions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory management principles and a commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy. This position involves regular data entry, report generation, and communication with various departments. We emphasize a culture of safety and adherence to all warehouse procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The ability to perform moderate lifting and stand for extended periods is also required. Responsibilities:
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventories as directed.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
  • Identify and report damaged or expired goods.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Operate material handling equipment as needed (training provided).
  • Collaborate with warehouse and management teams to improve inventory processes.
  • Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in WMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Willingness to wear required PPE.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
