We are seeking a dynamic Shipping & Receiving Associate for our Los Angeles, California location. This dual role requires meticulous attention to detail in both dispatching outgoing shipments and processing incoming goods. You will be integral to maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring efficient flow of products within our logistics network. A strong commitment to safety and operational excellence is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Accurately document all received items in the inventory management system.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Verify outgoing shipments against orders and shipping documents.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain organized storage of inventory and ensure efficient warehouse layout.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Properly use all required PPE , including safety glasses, gloves, and vests.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory and shipment status.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a general warehouse role is required.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and inventory management software.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including constant standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
- Good communication skills.
