Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order tickets or scanning devices.
- Pack products carefully into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring correct labeling and presentation.
- Verify order details against picked items to minimize errors.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work station and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment as needed to move products.
- Assist in cycle counting and inventory verification processes.
- Report any damaged goods or inventory discrepancies.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to meet productivity and quality standards.
- Understand and contribute to efficient logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 40 lbs.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the importance of wearing PPE.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a logistics team.
