Seeking a meticulous and reliable Receiving Clerk to join our bustling warehouse operations in San Diego, California. This position is vital for ensuring the accurate and efficient intake of all incoming goods, serving as the first point of contact for deliveries. Your responsibilities will include unloading shipments, verifying packing slips against received items, inspecting goods for damage, and documenting all incoming inventory. You will be responsible for accurately entering received items into our inventory management system, maintaining organized staging areas, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth flow of goods. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential. Adherence to all Safety protocols and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are required in the receiving area. This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and occasional heavy Lifting of items up to 50 pounds. A foundational understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control is advantageous.
