About the Role Our Enterprise Data Analytics (EDA) Capability Unit is the home of our experts in data & AI strategy, innovation, transformation and enablement, supporting clients in using advanced data, analytics and AI solutions to solve complex business problems. This high‑profile role contributes to leadership across both the EDA capability unit and our Public Sector client accounts. As a Vice President you will drive the direction, deliver new business, and coach and develop junior team members.
Responsibilities
Develop new business focused on Public Sector clients and sell consulting opportunities in excess of £4m per year.
Contribute to thought leadership and team management activities.
Lead one of our core capability areas: Operational Analytics, Data and AI Strategy, Data and AI Innovation, Data and AI Factory, tailoring offerings for the Public Sector.
Work as part of the EDA leadership team to grow the capability and develop new offers.
Manage performance of large cross‑sector teams, supporting career growth, guiding L&D priorities and driving recruitment.
Build and maintain senior client relationships, creating a sustainable business development pipeline.
Inspire Public Sector clients to innovate with AI, data science and analytics, design data strategies, scale solutions, and use insights to optimise decisions.
Sell, lead and manage large delivery programmes with data and analytics at the centre.
Create thought leadership and new propositions that reflect Capgemini Invent’s position as a leading AI, data science and analytics consultancy.
Key Expectations
Business Development – leading proposals, RFPs, bids, client pitches and hosting at events.
Internal contribution – campaign development, whitepapers, practice development, recruitment, and team events.
Learning & Development – training and certifications to support career growth.
Profile Leader within Public Sector consulting in AI, data and analytics, with a proven track record at a similar level, and relationships at senior levels in multiple Public Sector client organisations.
Experience
Good existing relationships with senior clients in the UK Public Sector focused on AI, Data Science and Analytics.
Experience defining data strategies and shaping AI or data science services integrated across technology and business functions.
Deep understanding of AI trends and their impact on Public Sector clients.
Experience leading large data‑driven transformation programmes in the Public Sector.
Qualifications
Strong management consulting experience with proven success in AI, Data Science or Analytics for the Public Sector.
Proven track record in new business development / account management in large Public Sector clients, with a personal sales target of circa £4m per annum.
Ability to succeed in a matrixed organisation and enlist peer support for selling and delivering consulting solutions.
Credibility and personal impact – respected by colleagues and clients.
Versatility, collaboration, empathy, confidence in content and focus on outcomes at all organisational levels.
Passion to shape, motivate and deliver AI, Data Science and Analytics work.
