The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background in AV systems and IT infrastructure, excels in a fast paced client facing environment.
*Responsibilities:*
* Manage end-to-end delivery of AV/IT projects, including conference rooms, collaboration spaces, digital signage, networks and integrated systems.
* Define project scope, schedules, budgets and resource plans.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, internal teams and suppliers.
* Translate business and user requirements into technical project plans.
* Co-ordinate engineers, installers, programmers and sub-contractors.
* Oversee system design reviews, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning.
* Manage risk, change control and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
* Ensure compliance with technical standards, safety requirements and best practices.
* Lead project meetings and provide clear status reports to stakeholders.
* Support project closeout, documentation, training and handover.
* Be the technical point of contact for clients, handling queries, clarifying requirements and translating them into deliverable solutions.
* Specify equipment, prepare proposal documentation, assist the sales and install teams with technical clarity.
* Co-ordinate installation teams on-site; liaising with clients, contractors and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Provide on-site and phone technical support during delivery phases.
*Requirements:*
* Proven experience managing AV, IT or integrated technology projects.
* Proven background combining technical AV/IT understanding and project management / client liaison.
* Very strong technical understanding with industry certifications in place, AVIXA, CNet, CEDIA etc.
* Extensive experience delivering main contractor-lead projects.
* Proven experience managing budgets, schedules and supplier relationships.
* Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills.
* PMP, Prince2, CTS-D, CTS-I or similar certification.
* Lateral thinking problem solver.
* Ideally an engineering background able to demonstrate in depth technical knowledge.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £75,000.00-£100,000.00 per year
