Executive Culinary Team Member

As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of meals. This includes planning menus, ordering ingredients, and supervising kitchen staff.

We are seeking someone with strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality food and service.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Sourcing high-quality ingredients to ensure consistency and excellence in our dishes
• Developing recipes and techniques to stay ahead of the culinary curve
• Executing menu items from start to finish, ensuring attention to detail and presentation
• Leading a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless operations
• Overseeing scheduling and inventory management to optimize efficiency and reduce waste

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a Michelin-rated establishment
• Superior knowledge of back-of-house administrative duties, including budgeting and inventory control
• Proven teaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to train and develop junior staff members
• Outstanding communication and supervisory skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
