We are seeking a diligent Warehouse Associate to join our growing logistics team in Houston, Texas. This position involves a variety of warehouse duties, including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse. You will be instrumental in maintaining an efficient and organized inventory system. The ideal candidate will be reliable, possess a strong work ethic, and have a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks. You will be working with a diverse range of products, so careful handling and adherence to safety standards are essential. Experience with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks is beneficial. Maintaining a safe and clean working environment is a top priority, requiring strict adherence to safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting practices. This role is integral to the smooth functioning of our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and store incoming goods.
- Pick and pack orders accurately for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated locations.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all company safety policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Perform essential lifting and material handling tasks safely.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics team.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse experience is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail is crucial for accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with basic warehouse operations and logistics. Commitment to workplace safety, including proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques. We are dedicated to providing a safe and efficient working environment.
