Temporary Certified Dental Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Dental Assistant to join our team on Tuesdays for a temporary position in January and February. The specific dates are January 13, 20, and 27, and February 3, 10, and 17. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality services. This position requires proficiency in dental procedures, familiarity with dental terminology, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for our patients.

Duties

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following infection control protocols.
• Take dental X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records, adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and aseptic techniques is essential.
• Familiarity with Itero 3D scanners is an asset.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour
