Operations Data Analyst

About the role

We are a drilling and blasting contractor seeking an Operations Data Analyst to manage and report on production data across multiple regions. This role focuses on interpreting field reports, maintaining a central operations database, and producing recurring management reports and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and review incoming:
• Timesheets
• Drill logs
• Blast reports
• Consumable usage reports
• Clean, standardize, and upload data into the operations database
• Maintain data accuracy, unit consistency, and basic validation checks
• Produce weekly and monthly operational reports by region
• Build and maintain Tableau dashboards for management review
• Work closely with operations and management to clarify data inputs

Required Skills

• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas; Power Query preferred)
• Experience building dashboards in Tableau
• Basic SQL querying experience
• Strong attention to detail and data quality
• Ability to interpret technical / operational reports

Preferred Experience

• Construction, mining, or industrial operations exposure
• Experience working with production or cost data
• Familiarity with timesheets and field reporting
