Company Introduction

Zast-Foods Corporation is a flexible, fast-moving corporation, with a range of strategically branded, co-packed and licensed food products for the "On-the-Go" consumer. We operate across Canada in Retail and Food Service channels with food products that are both frozen and ambient storage, as well as in select US Retailers.

The role:

Reporting to Sales Director – Food Service and working very closely with the Zast Foods Sales and Marketing Team the
Accounts Manager – Food Service
will be responsible for developing and driving our brands' presence across National and Regional Food Service Chains.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Sales Director and Sales VP to develop priorities, goals, and objectives for the territory
  • Develop a detailed database of opportunities including volume, timing and trade spend.
  • Build and maintain knowledge base of competitors and customer information within CRM system
  • Execute account plans and deliver to plans
  • Manage and maintain customer specific systems and portals as required

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or other related disciplines
  • 3-5 years' experience managing key accounts – National/Regional Chains and/or Contract Feeders
  • Strong analytical, planning, presentation, problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Financial experience managing multi year contracts and complex pricing programs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
  • The ability to travel within North America
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft applications and CRM system

This position is hybrid between office and customer activities; there will be the requirement to travel (15-20%) within Canada and the potential for occasional USA travel.
