We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assess, plan, and implement therapeutic educationally relevant interventions to support children’s development and enhance their ability to perform classroom activities. Your expertise will help children with diverse needs achieve their full potential. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children and adolescents in the school setting. Position can be 2 - 5 days/week, averaging 6.5 hour days, with reports written outside of the school day.
*Duties*
* Conduct comprehensive evaluations for ERs and RRs.
* Develop IEP goals aimed at improving functional skills in the classroom setting.
* Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure carry over of strategies on a daily basis.
* Document patient progress meticulously and adjust IEP goals accordingly to optimize outcomes
*Requirements*
* Valid PA license as an Occupational Therapist.
* Experience working with children in settings such as early intervention programs, outpatient clinics, schools, or inpatient facilities is a plus.
* Knowledge and understanding of educationally based occupational services and how best to support a student's goals within an IEP.
* Ability to work effectively with children across age ranges from children to adolescents.
* Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams
* Ability to closely follow timelines and complete paperwork for deadlines on time.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.04 - $42.20 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 35 per week
Work Location: In person
