*Position Overview*
We’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented *Pharmacist* to join our LTC and Retail team. The ideal candidate is passionate about senior care, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and values the close relationships that come with serving our community’s facilities and residents. As a Pharmacist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care, utilizing your clinical expertise in a dynamic combo pharmacy environment. Your contributions will directly impact patient outcomes, making a difference in the lives of those we serve.
*What you’ll do*
* Review and interpret medication orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness for patient therapy.
* Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management and patient assessments.
* Verify, process, and check prescriptions for long-term care and assisted living residents
* Educate patients and healthcare staff on medication administration, potential side effects, and drug interactions. Review patient medication profiles for accuracy, safety, and drug interactions.
* Communicate with nursing staff, prescribers, and caregivers to ensure continuity of care.
* Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
* Maintain comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to support clinical decision-making.
* Maintain accurate records in compliance with LTC documentation standards.
* Support vaccine clinics, facility audits, and medication management programs.
* Participate in pharmacy residency training programs and contribute to the development of pharmacy students.
* Collaborate with the management team to improve workflow and patient outcomes
* Ability to pivot on new initiatives and thrive in an ever-changing enviornment
* Work along side Retail and other LTC staff to ensure the core values align with our business mission and we strive to acheive our business goals
*Qualifications*
* Doctor of Pharmacy (*Pharm.D.*) degree from an accredited institution.
* Active pharmacist license in *Georgia* (South Carolina license a plus)
* Previous experience in *Long Term Care, Retail, or Hospital Pharmacy* preferred
* Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Job Type: Part-time
Base Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 32 per week
