Join our growing team as a Shipping & Receiving Associate in Richmond, Virginia! This role is vital to our supply chain, ensuring that goods are received, processed, and shipped accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting the overall flow of products through our distribution center. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in warehouse operations and logistics. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and staging orders for delivery.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving and shipping area.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and update inventory records.
- Ensure all products are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety .
- Utilize appropriate PPE at all times while performing duties.
- Be prepared for tasks involving significant Lifting , often up to 50 pounds.
- Contribute to the seamless operation of our Logistics network.
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and possess good communication skills. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn are essential. Previous experience in a shipping or receiving role is a plus, but not required. We provide comprehensive training for all successful applicants.
