Are you a skilled Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Provo, Utah? We are seeking experienced operators to join our rapidly growing logistics team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. Your precision and adherence to safety protocols are critical for maintaining efficient warehouse operations and preventing accidents. You will operate industrial trucks, such as forklifts, to move goods around a warehouse, storage facility, or factory. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse safety, including proper material handling techniques and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, reliable, and possesses excellent spatial awareness. You will contribute to a team that ensures accurate inventory management and timely order fulfillment. This position involves regular lifting of up to 60 lbs and operating machinery in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to transport materials.
- Load and unload palletized or bulk materials from trailers, production areas, or storage areas.
- Stack and unstack pallets and materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including OSHA standards and company policies on PPE.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse associates and supervisors.
- Ensure accurate and timely movement of goods to support logistics operations.
- Follow all safety guidelines and best practices to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification (e.g., OSHA-approved).
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Familiarity with different types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Commitment to using PPE and maintaining a safety-first mindset.
