Your responsibilities will include accurately selecting items from inventory using pick lists or scanners, and then carefully packing them for shipment. This position demands precision, efficiency, and a strong adherence to **safety** protocols. You will be expected to work with various warehouse equipment and maintain an organized and clean work area. A commitment to workplace **safety** is non-negotiable, and the use of appropriate **PPE** is mandatory. This role involves significant physical activity, including standing for long periods, walking, bending, and **lifting** items up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently from warehouse shelves.
- Pack items securely and correctly for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Use RF scanners and other technology to manage inventory and orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company **safety** guidelines and procedures, including the mandatory use of **PPE**.
- Perform quality checks to ensure order accuracy.
- Assist with receiving and stocking as needed.
- Meet daily productivity and quality targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform frequent bending.
- Capability of **lifting** up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse **logistics** and inventory control.
- Strong commitment to workplace **safety**.
- Must be willing to wear required **PPE**.
