Join our dedicated team as a Warehouse Worker in Des Moines, Iowa. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to be involved in various aspects of our warehouse operations, supporting our logistics network. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Store materials and products in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all warehouse Safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations and logistics.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times, especially when handling materials or operating machinery.
- Must be able to handle repetitive lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
