We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator for our bustling warehouse in Denver, Colorado. This is a key role in our logistics operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials and finished goods. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operating various types of forklifts in a fast-paced environment and a strong commitment to safety protocols. You will be responsible for loading/unloading trucks, moving inventory, and maintaining accurate stock levels. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and containers.
- Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through proper placement and scanning of goods.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Organize warehouse space to optimize storage and accessibility.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift certification and at least 2 years of experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts safely in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to using required PPE and following safety protocols.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
