Our Houston, Texas facility is looking for a dedicated Inventory Control Specialist to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse stock. This role is vital for maintaining efficient operations, reducing discrepancies, and supporting our logistics network. The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, performing physical inventories, and investigating and resolving inventory variances. You will manage inventory records in our WMS (Warehouse Management System), identify and report damaged or expired goods, and assist in implementing inventory control procedures. Adherence to all safety protocols and the correct use of PPE is essential. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. Experience with inventory management software and a solid understanding of warehouse operations are necessary. You will be a key player in optimizing stock levels, minimizing shrinkage, and ensuring that our products are available for timely shipment. Responsibilities include maintaining organized stock locations, preparing inventory reports, and collaborating with other departments to improve inventory accuracy. This role involves regular lifting of up to 30 lbs and requires a commitment to safety and efficiency in all tasks.
