We are hiring a Warehouse Associate for our facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This position is a key component of our logistics network, ensuring that goods are handled efficiently and accurately from receipt to shipment. As a Warehouse Associate, you will perform a wide range of duties, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and store incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack products according to customer orders.
- Prepare orders for shipping, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as forklifts (if certified) and pallet jacks.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent stocking and cycle counting.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure operational efficiency.
- Meet performance standards for speed and accuracy.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety best practices and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Reliability and a strong commitment to attendance.
- Willingness to work flexible hours if needed.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and sometimes physically demanding environment.
