We are seeking an energetic Picker/Packer to join our logistics team in Madison, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include retrieving specified items from our warehouse inventory, carefully packing them for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. We emphasize a culture of safety and expect all team members to strictly adhere to our safety guidelines and use all provided PPE. Training will be provided on all equipment and procedures to ensure a secure working environment. This position requires physical dexterity and stamina, including prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending, as well as regular lifting. You should be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds, and we will provide comprehensive training on safe lifting techniques to minimize the risk of injury. Responsibilities:
- Accurately select products based on order tickets.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for safe transport.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order requirements.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
- Follow all established safety procedures and protocols.
- Wear appropriate PPE, such as safety glasses and gloves.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve daily picking and packing goals.
- Participate in stock checks and inventory audits.
- Support the overall effectiveness of our logistics operations.
