We are seeking dependable Material Handlers to join our busy warehouse facility in Phoenix, Arizona. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials within the warehouse, ensuring that products are organized, accessible, and ready for shipment or further processing. Your duties will include receiving incoming goods, stocking shelves, fulfilling orders, and preparing items for dispatch. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management. We are committed to ensuring a safe working environment and provide comprehensive training on all equipment and required PPE . The successful candidate will be adept at handling various materials, including frequent Lifting of items up to 60 lbs, and will contribute to the smooth functioning of our entire Logistics chain. Adherence to strict Safety protocols is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Store inventory in designated warehouse locations accurately.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE .
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of inventory movement.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse Logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Certification to operate forklifts (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting up to 60 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and inventory control.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety .
- Proficiency in using warehouse equipment and scanning devices.
- Familiarity with Logistics and supply chain concepts is beneficial.
- Must be able to wear required PPE , such as safety vests and steel-toed boots.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
