We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects across various business units. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, and expertise in managing project portfolios from initiation through completion. This role involves overseeing multiple projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Senior Project Manager will play a critical role in fostering collaboration, managing risks, and delivering high-quality results within scope, time, and budget constraints.
*Duties*
* Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects utilizing methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and Lean Six Sigma.
* Develop comprehensive project plans including scope management, scheduling using tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, and resource allocation.
* Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and perform requirements analysis to ensure project deliverables meet business needs.
* Manage project scope, schedule, cost control, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
* Oversee program development and program management activities to align projects with strategic objectives.
* Conduct root cause analysis and implement process improvements using Kaizen, Six Sigma, or Lean methodologies.
* Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders through effective vendor management and contract negotiations.
* Utilize project management software such as Jira, Trello, Confluence, Smartsheet, or ServiceNow for tracking progress and reporting.
* Lead team management efforts including supervising project teams, facilitating meetings, conflict resolution, and performance evaluations.
* Ensure quality management standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle by implementing best practices in project engineering and content management systems.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement by applying techniques like Waterfall, Kanban, or Scrum for process management.
* Prepare technical documentation and reports using technical writing skills for stakeholder updates and executive presentations.
*Skills*
* Extensive experience in project management lifecycle including scope management, time management, risk management, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.
* Proficiency with PPM tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, VersionOne, or Basecamp; familiarity with SharePoint and Workday is a plus.
* Strong leadership capabilities with supervising experience in managing cross-functional teams across IT infrastructure or product development projects.
* Expertise in change management methodologies such as Kaizen or Six Sigma to drive process improvements.
* Advanced skills in data analysis including data collection and root cause analysis to inform decision-making.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects within a portfolio using Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to facilitate meetings effectively using tools like Visio or Confluence for process mapping and process management.
* Effective negotiation skills for vendor contracts and stakeholder engagement; adept at conflict management and communication skills for diverse audiences.
* Knowledge of IT project management frameworks such as PMBOK or PRINCE2; familiarity with Agile frameworks like SAFe or Scrum is preferred.
* Technical proficiency with ERP systems, product lifecycle management tools, or content management systems is advantageous for specific projects. Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $100,871.14 - $121,479.23 per year
Expected hours: 38 per week
