*Physical Therapist (PRN) – Inpatient Hospital*
PRN position with approximately one Saturday per month, additional PRN coverage for staff time off, and some holiday coverage.
*POSITION SUMMARY*
Under the direction of the department manager, the Physical Therapist provides inpatient physical therapy evaluations, treatments, and functional progressions.
This position is based in a small inpatient hospital setting with a patient population that is predominantly post-surgical spine and orthopedic patients.
The current need includes PRN Saturday coverage (approximately one Saturday per month), some holiday coverage, and additional PRN coverage for staff vacations or time off. Weekend and holiday visits are performed one time daily.

*SCHEDULE*

*COMPENSATION DETAILS*
In addition to the posted PRN hourly rate, the position includes a daily show-up fee paid to the therapist for scheduled coverage, regardless of patient volume.
*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*
Provides inpatient physical therapy services including evaluation, treatment, and reassessment of patient status at each visit
Progresses patient function toward established goals and projected outcomes
Discharges patients from physical therapy when goals or projected outcomes are achieved
Coordinates patient care with nursing staff, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
Completes all required documentation in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Maintains and enhances professional knowledge and clinical competencies
Supports infection control, safety, and risk management programs
*QUALIFICATIONS*
_Experience:_
1–2 years of physical therapy experience in a healthcare setting preferred
_Education and Licensure:_
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
Current Oklahoma Physical Therapist license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
*WORK EXPECTATIONS*
Provides care in accordance with CMS, Joint Commission, and state requirements
Communicates clearly and professionally with patients and team members
Works collaboratively with nursing, physicians, and therapy staff
Maintains accurate and timely documentation
Pay: $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4.0 – 8.0 per week
