Independently design and develop scalable Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative tools
Build complex integrations between Salesforce and government systems using REST/SOAP APIs
Develop solutions that work in air-gapped and offline environments
Optimize applications for performance within governor limits
Create reusable components and frameworks for government use cases
Technical Leadership
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development team members
Lead code reviews and establish coding standards
Provides oversight through code and design reviews for features delivered by other developers within their scrum team.
Collaborate with architects on technical design decisions
Drive adoption of best practices for Salesforce development
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
Develop test plans and test automation for features and/or products
Verify quality of the code delivered through manual and automated testing. Extend the automation framework where necessary.
Work closely with senior developers, PM, and UX to ensure their features are delivered to meet business and quality requirements
Actively influence management regarding tools, technology and testing requirements.
Troubleshoot production issues.
Platform Expertise
Work with OmniStudio for dynamic forms and business process automation
Implement security controls for government compliance requirements
Develop solutions using Platform Events and asynchronous processing
Build Experience Cloud sites for constituent-facing applications
Integrate with Salesforce Data Cloud and AI capabilities
Required Qualifications Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
10+ years of software development experience
5+ years working on enterprise-scale applications
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Technical Skills
Salesforce Platform : Expert-level Apex, LWC, Flow Builder, Process Builder
Integration : REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture
Testing : Unit testing, integration testing, test automation
Performance : Governor limits optimization, query optimization, bulk processing
Security : Understanding of Salesforce security model, sharing rules, field-level security
