Senior Frontend Engineer

About The Role As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Mochi Health, you’ll be responsible for delivering a best-in-class web and mobile experience for our customers, providers, pharmacy technicians, and other team members who interface with our proprietary platform daily. You will also oversee our React Native mobile application, implementing wearable device integrations, building custom video streaming protocols, enhancing our provider chat experience, and more. This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in web and mobile development, including native mobile coding in Kotlin or Swift. Salary Range:

$250,000 - $300,000 Full-time / Onsite (5 days/week) What You’ll Do

Lead development, optimization, and expansion of web and mobile applications (React, React Native, TypeScript, Swift, Kotlin). Drive best practices in performance, security, and scalability as we scale rapidly over the next 6-12 months. Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences. Own architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and promote front-end excellence. Work with modern front-end tooling, component-driven architecture, and state management solutions. Optimize real-time interactions focusing on accessibility and usability. Foster innovation and technical ownership within the engineering culture. Who You Are

7+ years of front-end development experience, with expertise in React, React Native, and exposure to Kotlin/Swift (e.g., Apple Health Kit integrations). Experience leading technical initiatives and shipping high-performance applications. Strong knowledge of front-end tooling (TypeScript, CI/CD). Expertise in state management and complex UX interactions in data-heavy apps. Passionate about creating fast, accessible, and beautiful user experiences. Startup mindset: thrive in fast environments, take ownership, solve problems at scale. Bonus: Experience with WebSockets, real-time data, compiled languages, healthcare apps.
