Warehouse Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse distribution, materials handling. This role involves managing shipping and receiving, order picking, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations using various tools and systems. Prior experience with warehouse management systems, OSHA safety standards, and mechanical knowledge is highly desirable. The Warehouse Technician plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, organized, and productive warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform order picking and other warehouse management systems to fulfill customer & field technicians orders accurately
• Manage shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods
• Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
• Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting tasks, ensuring proper storage and organization
• Utilize mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Follow OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
• Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and cycle counts

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, shipping & receiving, and materials handling
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations
• Experience with construction or service is a plus
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking and inventory management
• Prior experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a supervisory role is advantageous

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
