Personal Care Assistant

Job Description

Tez Healthcare Services is seeking compassionate and reliable Caregivers / Health Care Assistants (HCAs) to provide in-home support to clients in the community. The ideal candidate is patient-centered, dependable, and committed to improving clients' quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide mobility assistance and support with transfers
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as required
• Perform light housekeeping related to client care
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Monitor and report changes in client condition
• Follow individualized care plans and safety guidelines
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries

Qualifications & Requirements

• Caregiver or Health Care Assistant certification preferred
• Previous caregiving experience (home care, long-term care, or hospital) is an asset
• CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Criminal Record Check (clear)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
