Luke Havekes Design is seeking a motivated and highly organized Project Coordinator to support our business operations, including the planning, coordination, and execution of interior design projects. This role is ideal for a candidate with a business background and a strong interest in interior design who is eager to learn and grow within a small, dynamic team.
Position Overview
The Project Coordinator will play a central role in supporting day-to-day studio operations and project execution. Working in close collaboration with the Design Director and Operations Manager, the successful candidate will help ensure the seamless execution of both operational and design initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing multiple interior design projects simultaneously
- Support budgeting, procurement, invoicing, and maintenance of project documentation
- Coordinate communication, scheduling, and deliveries with internal team members, vendors, and clients
- Assist with sourcing, specifications, and organization of materials and furnishings
- Provide administrative and operational support to maintain efficient studio workflows
- Support all operational and creative tasks as needed to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
Qualifications & Requirements
- 0-3 years of experience in a project coordination or similar role
- Educational background in business, project management, or a related field
- Experience or strong interest in the interior design industry
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and proactive problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt easily to changes
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Bilingual (English and French)
- Valid driver's license (an asset)
- Proficiency in SketchUp (an asset)
