Experienced Optician/Optical Dispenser

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting patients in selecting and fitting eyewear. As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive the best possible vision care and support throughout their experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses that meet their vision needs and personal style.
• Conduct measurements for eyewear fittings, including pupillary distance and segment height.
• Provide education to patients about lens options, coatings, and frame materials.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including prescriptions and orders using optical software systems such as Epic.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and advancements in optical technology.

Experience

• Previous experience in optical is required.
• Familiarity with optical terminology and laboratory processes is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly to customers.
• Experience working with medical terminology related to vision care is a plus.
• A passion for helping others and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
