Skilled Labourer

Join our team to install and service a range of exterior prefabricated products, including aluminum composite panels, cement-based panels or siding, foam-insulated metal panels, corrugated cladding, and wood composite panels/siding for commercial and institutional projects.

Reports to:

Site Superintendent

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret blueprints and work orders to determine layout and installation requirements

Measure and mark reference lines for accurate installation

Apply air/vapor barrier membranes to wall surfaces using rollers and applicators

Cut and install z-bar sub-girts with hand and power tools

Install, repair, and maintain exterior cladding systems and panels

Coordinate with other trades and respond to site management requests

Handle loading and unloading of materials at job sites

Requirements:

No formal education required

Comply with all company and site safety standards under OH&S regulations

Participate in safety meetings and maintain a strong safety culture

Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor

Reliable, punctual, and able to communicate effectively in English

Valid driver's license may be required

Comfortable working at heights

Must own CSA-approved steel-toe boots

Additional Information:

On-site product-specific training provided

Previous experience with building envelope systems is an asset

Work primarily in the Edmonton region at various project sites

Having your own vehicle is an advantage

Compensation:

Skilled Laborer: $22–$28/hour (based on experience)

Metal Cladders: $22–$37/hour (based on experience)

Working Conditions:

Monday to Friday, starting at 7:00 AM, minimum 9-hour shifts

1-hour lunch break (0.5 hour paid)

Exposure to noise, dust, and outdoor elements

Fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail

Work in varying weather conditions (cold winters, hot summers)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$37.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 45 per week
