We are seeking a System Administrator / DevOps Engineer to support secure, automated deployments and manage cloud infrastructure in a high security, cleared government environment. This role is critical in reducing system downtime, accelerating update cycles, and ensuring infrastructure resilience and compliance with federal security standards. Job Location: Primarily remote, with occasional business travel to Washington, D.C. and Monterrey, California What You Will Do: Design, implement, and maintain secure, automated CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software deployments. Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or other government-authorized platforms), ensuring high availability and compliance with security policies. Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to streamline system integration and deployment processes. Proactively identify and resolve system performance issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring operational continuity. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Support system hardening, patch management, and vulnerability remediation in accordance with STIGs and RMF guidelines. Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and security controls. Participate in incident response and recovery efforts, ensuring systems remain secure and operational. What You Will Bring With You: Candidate must have an active Secret clearance or higher Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience in system administration and/or DevOps roles in a secure or government environment. What We Would Like You To Bring With You: Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, etc.) and automation tools. Strong understanding of CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code. Familiarity with RMF, STIGs, and federal cybersecurity compliance frameworks. Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, CompTIA Security+, or RHCE are a plus. Professional Skills: Highly effective analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface effectively at all levels of the business. Organized, detailed oriented and able to prioritize and multi-task. Pay Range: $89,203.00 - $151,646.00 Nationwide Remote Office (US99)
