We’re looking for an experienced communications leader to lead our Strategic Communications and Content team, shaking up the status quo, making people care, and turning ambition into action.
You’ll lead a talented team of 12 across media, social, brand, and content—working with influencers, partners, and platforms to make sure girls’ rights cut through the noise.
Responsibilities
Rewrite the narrative: Position Plan UK as a challenger brand that punches above its weight.
Drive cultural relevance: Make girls’ rights urgent, close, and winnable—even when the world feels overwhelming.
Scale our humanitarian impact: Put us further on the map as a go-to voice when disaster strikes.
Qualifications
A proven leader in communications strategy, with the agility to thrive in a fast‑changing world, and an ability to drive anti‑racist, ethical communications.
A motivator who can inspire and support teams and build trusted relationships across fundraising, influencing, and beyond.
Bold enough to take risks, while managing reputation; creative enough to make headlines; and determined enough to keep the momentum going.
