Successful candidates need to demonstrate:

  • a basic understanding of business documents and workflows/processes
  • an ability to adopt new and existing technology,
  • a willingness to switch hats to assist in several aspects of the business,

Day to day tasks include:

Payables

  • Completing credit applications
  • Processing purchase invoices
  • Comparing project costs to budgets
  • Preparing vendor payments
  • Reconciling vendor statements

Receivables

  • Issuing customer invoices
  • Posting customer payments
  • Monitoring customer accounts and following up on slow invoices
  • Process customer credit applications

Other duties include:

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure a functional and pleasant workspace, including supply management, cleaning schedules, and asthetics
  • Coordinating staff events
  • Assisting with office administration as necessary
