Position Overview:
As a Server at Hunter & Co., you will be the face of our restaurant, ensuring guests have an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. You'll be responsible for providing attentive service, recommending tapas and craft cocktails, and fostering an inviting, energetic atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and drinks, have strong communication skills, and be committed to providing a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and provide a personalized dining experience.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
• Be knowledgeable about the menu, including tapas offerings, ingredients, and drink pairings.
• Suggest and upsell craft cocktails and tapas, offering personalized recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked service area.
• Handle payments and process transactions accurately.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service and communication.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly, ensuring an exceptional experience.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and restaurant protocols.
• Continuously learn about new menu items, seasonal offerings, and cocktail techniques.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a server or hospitality role, preferably in a fast-paced, upscale environment.
• A passion for food, cocktails, and providing outstanding customer service.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, spirits, and craft cocktails is a plus.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well with a team.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
