We currently have an opportunity for a Training Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis, working from our Steinbach, MB office. The Training Administrator will work as an administrative support to the training and education initiatives at Barkman Concrete, including managing schedules, resources, records, and communication.

The role as a Training Administrator will include, but is not limited to:

  • Partner with stakeholders and teams throughout the organization to provide administrative support for training
  • Assist subject matter experts with content development as needed
  • Schedule and set up training, including booking resources, room set up, preparing materials, and communicating with participants
  • Prepare and standardize documentation to ensure consistency across the organization
  • Organize and manage digital training document library
  • Track participant enrolment, progress, and other information

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Education in Business Administration would be an asset
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills
  • Excellent computer knowledge (i.e. Microsoft Office including PowerPoint)
  • Organization skills including accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong teamwork ethic with the ability to work independently on tasks
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with video, voiceover, and video editing would be an asset
