Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of AI agents and tools that streamline clinical decision?making and enhance clinical workflows. Explore and implement full?stack architecture for AI?agentic systems, from context engineering to API design and deployment. Develop and maintain robust, scalable backend services and integrations (using Python, Java Spring Boot, SQL) that serve as the foundation for our AI applications. Collaborate with cross?functional teams to help translate clinical and operational needs into technical specifications and prototypes. Follow best practices for developing reliable, secure, and scalable AI applications, ensuring all solutions meet compliance standards such as HIPAA. Monitor and optimize the performance of AI systems in production to handle growth and ensure a seamless user experience. Take on additional responsibilities as needed, including on?call rotations. Regular travel to our Mountain View headquarters for planning workshops and team collaboration sessions. Other duties as assigned Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a STEM?related field (Masters preferred). 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong foundation in building backend services. Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying AI?powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT, Claude, or Gemini. Strong practical knowledge of prompt engineering, vector databases, Retrieval?Augmented Generation (RAG), and other techniques for building reliable LLM?based systems. Proficiency in Java and/or Python and experience developing microservices. Hands?on experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and query optimization. Proven ability to work across disciplines, collaborating effectively with product, design, and non?technical stakeholders to build user?centric solutions. Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and drive projects from concept to completion. Experience in healthcare, biosensors, or related fields is a plus but not required. The compensation range for this position is $195,000-$210,000 annually.
