Team Lead, Personal Lines Insurance

We are seeking a full-time Team Lead, Personal Lines, to join our growing team. This role will provide direct day-to-day supervision for the department.  This role will help ensure consistent policies, processes, and workflows are defined and followed to enhance the employee and customer experience; and create an engaging and safe work environment.  This role will also maintain a manageable client list to ensure they remain current with markets, processes, and systems.

So, What Will You Spend Your Days Doing?

• Provide technical leadership and guidance on policies, markets, processes to ensure a consistent experience.
• Provide day-to-day direction and guidance to the team.
• Manages time off requests for direct reports
• Monitor worklists and workloads, host regular team meetings.
• Responsible for all aspects of performance management for the team (coaching, performance management, career development, hiring, onboarding etc.)
• Conducting 1-1 meetings with the team and participating in annual performance review process
• Ensure consistent workflows, policies, and processes are established, followed, and maintained.
• Complete quality reviews and provide follow up coaching and/or training.
• Serve as the first point of escalations for staff, carriers, customers.
• Provide or source any training and development opportunities.
• Training and organizing set up of new hires.

 Qualifications

• Must be RIBO licensed (if applicable)
• Must have a minimum of 3+ years' experience working in a brokerage
• Proven track record successfully supervising/leading a team.
• Experience implementing and/or responsibility for process, workflows, quality reviews and/or training.
