The VRV Sales Application Engineer is critical in providing technical expertise on company products to sales representatives in the selection and application of business unit products to promote Daikin Applied VRV products as basis of design. This role will aid in developing strategies on how to position the product to effectively compete in the marketplace and interact with customers to effectively demonstrate value of company product lines. Onsite at our Equipment Sales Office What You Will Do: Assist Sales Engineers in takeoffs, estimates, proposals, and submittals to win VRV Solutions Assist with the design of VRV systems, ensuring they meet client requirements and technical specifications Provide prompt, accurate support to Sales Engineer inquires regarding special applications, systems, or pricing Process requests for modifications or options and other general information not covered by published pricing Keep informed on new products and competitive models in the market place Communicate suggested modifications to the company's products/services to meet customer requirements. Communicate and provides feedback to product management for product services requirements not met by current product line May write or provide input to assist in preparing technical literature for internal and field application Participate in product training of sales representatives and customers What's in it for you: The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience 4+ years of related commercial HVAC industry experience Previous experience with VRV/VRF system design Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel Prior experience with Power Automate is preferred Work visa sponsorship not available for this position Benefits: Multiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance 401K retirement plan with employer match Paid time off and company paid holidays Paid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local law Tuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $74,200 - $147,400 in Florida. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
