ROLE DESCRIPTION Support local presales staff in the achievement of objectives in line with company directive.
Provide CrowdStrike technical sales support to Westcon countries and authorized business partners.
To plan, execute and report on CrowdStrike offering presales to maximize Westcon Group value‑add and ensure success in terms of revenue and profitability. Work with CrowdStrike and sales team to develop and execute compelling solution propositions for Westcon, Resellers and their end users.
Build, support and maintain the Westcon 3D labs to showcase multi‑vendor solutions and multi‑vendor integrations with CrowdStrike based on real‑life use cases.
Deliver virtual and on‑premise CrowdStrike workshops and bootcamps in support of the Westcon countries.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide CrowdStrike presentations, demo’s, POV’s and assessments as requested by the local presales or sales staff and business partners
Assist in developing and supporting the Westcon value proposition with presales services, LabaaS (3D lab), LMS and other value added services
Address knowledge gaps by providing or organizing additional knowledge transfer sessions
Enable and train Westcon pre sales in country up to CrowdStrike SE level
Assist Westcon resellers in achieving the technical certification requirements part of the CrowdStrike partner program through training and knowledge transfer in workshops and bootcamps
Support the efficient promotion of differentiating value propositions through pre sales engagement and partner training
Conversion customer requirement to kit list for the vendor
In coordination with local presales or sales staff, proactively work within resellers to position product line and ensure comprehension of portfolio
Build visibility with CrowdStrike and customers to create a competitive distribution advantage for CrowdStrike products via Westcon
Maintain competitive awareness of other vendor products and other distribution activity
Provide internal updates on a regular basis
Represent CrowdStrike solutions effectively and accurately
Country and Partner Support
Point of contact for country and partner presales inquiries regarding solution designs
Liaise with and support country teams with presales requests for the vendor
Identify ways to build margin by means of bundling and developing new propositions
Assist with customer events as necessary
Support local sales team with product positioning
Work with local sales team to understand product trends
Develop product presentations for the sales force
Work with business development manager to train Sales staff and Partners on specific vendor products
Administrative/Self Development
Drive presales community calls
Present Solutions Architect Director EMEA or Sales Director with relevant reports and analysis
Track competitive issues and log of pricing issues, corrections, and results
Become and remain knowledgeable and learn from experience in the field through regular execution of demos and POV’s: hands on profile
Maintain and develop own knowledge of Westcon Group services portfolio through CrowdStrike and third party partners taken to market via the reseller channel
Provide input to presales training materials where necessary
Maintain appropriate CrowdStrike certifications to maintain accreditation in line with vendor programs
Maintain overall knowledge of CrowdStrike pricing and channel support tools
