Experienced Prep Cook

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and cooking, with a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

• Prepare menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service.
• Participate in the training of new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary, willing to train the right candidate,
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other staff members.
