We are looking to grow our Guest Experience Team We are looking for motivated, friendly and positive team players to join the Squamish Canyon Team. Our Guest Experience Associates are a vital part of our team, as you are our first point of contact with our guests.
Squamish Canyon is Squamish's newest eco-attraction having opening on August 1st of 2025. Home to a 1.5km boardwalk and canyon walkway through the coastal rainforest and along Mamquam Canyon, we offer visitors and locals a unique experience, sharing what makes this place so special.

Guest Experience
Own the Guest Experience: As the face of Squamish Canyon, you're responsible for creating a warm, welcoming environment from the very first greeting to the last goodbye. Every guest interaction is an opportunity to make a lasting impression.
Lead with Care: Deliver exceptional service with attention to detail and a genuine passion for ensuring every guest has a memorable experience. Address inquiries swiftly and ensure any concerns are handled professionally, escalating to supervisors when necessary.
Proactive Engagement: Take the initiative to assist guests with wayfinding, provide helpful information about services, and highlight the unique experiences Squamish Canyon has to offer.
Be a Brand Ambassador: As the embodiment of Squamish Canyon's values, ensure each guest feels valued and heard, contributing to a sense of belonging and community.
Stay Informed: Keep your knowledge current on all experiences, policies, and services, ensuring you can provide insightful, accurate information at all times.
Sales & Admissions
Ensure Smooth Operations: Handle all ticketing and payment processes efficiently, ensuring every guest transaction is seamless and accurate.
Lead with Precision: Reconcile tills and manage all cash handling duties with care, ensuring all processes are transparent and accounted for.
Organize with Excellence: Maintain and organize all guest services documents, filing systems, and tracking sheets, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Set the Stage: Keep the ticket window and surrounding areas clean, organized, and welcoming, ensuring the environment reflects the quality of the Squamish Canyon experience.
Collaborate for Success: Work seamlessly with other departments and maintain strong relationships with external partners and tour operators, ensuring the guest experience is fluid from start to finish.
Support and Prepare: Assist the guest services team with daily operations, from prepping for the next day's activities to ensuring the space is clean and organized.
Adapt and Contribute: Embrace additional duties as they arise, staying flexible and ready to support the team wherever needed.
Qualifications
Friendly, outgoing, and approachable with a genuine enthusiasm for guest service.
Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging diverse groups including families, children, and international guests.
Basic math skills and experience with cash handling and POS systems.
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
Reliable team player, skilled at problem-solving and maintaining confidentiality.
Experience in customer service, retail, admissions, and cash handling is an asset—but if you bring a positive attitude and strong foundational skills, we're happy to train
Willingness to complete a Criminal Record Check in line with Squamish Canyon's policies.
Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, to accommodate guest needs.
Work Conditions
Dynamic Schedule – Your role will keep you engaged with shifts that include evenings, weekends, and holidays. With nature as your backdrop, you'll experience all the beauty (and unpredictability) of working outdoors in various weather conditions, from crisp mountain mornings to golden sunset hours.
On Your Feet, In the Action – This is a hands-on leadership role, so expect to be up and moving. Whether you're leading the team through a busy day or ensuring every detail is perfect, you'll be on your feet for extended periods. Occasionally, you may lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
Reaching New Heights – Sometimes, the best view (or that one ingredient you need) is just out of reach. You may need to use step ladders or stools for certain tasks, ensuring every element of our food & beverage experience is top tier.
