Join Our TeamWe are seeking a Kitchen Staff to support operations in the Discovery Collegiate Child Care Centre. Creating a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow, while keeping a clean work environment and assisting with other duties as needed for our licensed child care centre. This job requires completing repetitive tasks, ongoing cleaning and sanitization, ordering supplies, and menu/food prep within licensed childcare regulations. The successful Kitchen Staff would also be required to complete the Casual Care Giver program through AECENL.
Job Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food Handler Certification
- Immunization Records
- Casual Care Giver Certification
- Experience working in a child care setting is considered an asset
- Experience working in the food service industry
- Standard First Aid and CPR
- Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sectors Checks are reviewed on a individual basis
