As our Inside Sales Specialist you are responsible for driving revenue growth by managing sales and client relationships primarily through phone, and email. This role focuses on identifying new opportunities, growing existing accounts, preparing quotes, and providing technical support to clients. The job requires strong sales and negotiating skills, technical knowledge of oilfield products, specifically valve automation and control systems and the ability to build relationships while maintaining sales accounts. This role bridges the gap between engineering, sales, and production. Providing customers with tailored manufacturing solutions while maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients.
- as part of a team be the go-to person for selected customers, a contact for inquiries; whether it's day to day questions, application support, or developing custom valve automation and actuation solutions
- follow established workflow(s) and quality processes to ensure each quote and order is accurate to customer specifications, and provide skilled knowledge to support a customer should they require additional help creating the right order
- prepare clear, detailed technical quotes, including sizing and design details tailored to customer requirements, and or option products providing the best solution for a correct solution
- handle sales inquiries and manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to after sales support
- collaborate with internal technical and operations teams to offer tailored solutions
· Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, engineers, distributors, and procurement teams at customer organizations.
· Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to faciliate profitability and quality of product lines.
· Negotiate pricing, and terms to achieve sales targets and profitability.
· Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities.
· Represent the company at industry events, and client meetings.
Manufacturing & Inside Sales: Collaboration
Internal
· Collaboration within our internal team; engineering, production, and operations to measure the quality of products or services against industry specific standards.
· Identify problems, communicate effectively with production and sales team members to make improvements, and prepare reports for senior management should the need arise.
· Collaborate with engineering and production teams to evaluate customer requirements and propose suitable manufacturing and product solutions.
· Collaborate with internal sales team to establish feasibility, cost analysis , and technical assessments for potential projects.
External
· Act as liaison between customers and internal teams (engineering, sales, production, quality and logistics).
· Translate technical concepts into customer-friendly information for ease of comprehension.
· Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and internal profitability.
· Provide after sales support, troubleshooting and customer training where applicable.

· Strong technical aptitude and ability to review specifications and scope of project(s) and order(s).

Qualifications & Experience
· Degree or Diploma in: Trades or Engineering.
· Equivalencies will be considered: related technical experience, knowledge, skills and ability.
· Experience in business development and technical sales, ideally within the energy sector, preference will be given to knowledge in a manufacturing based environment involving valve automation and control systems.
· Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, and automation is highly desirable.
· Knowledge of international markets to facilitate supply chain management.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
· Ability to manage complex projects from concept to execution.
· Valid driver's license with a good record and willingness to travel to customer sites, and industry events as required.
