About this Position:
Join us in in delivering swimming lessons to groups, schools, and individuals as part of the Swimsations Learn to Swim program at Goonellabah Sports and Aquatic Centre (GSAC). We provide excellent service to our patrons and take pride in fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment.
As a Learn to Swim Instructor, you will ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants while providing high-quality instruction. You will work closely with the Aquatics Coordinator and Deck Supervisor to maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction and teaching excellence.
We're excited to offer two permanent part-time opportunities: one for 15 hours per week and another for 10 hours per week. There is also potential for additional hours as new opportunities arise. Please note that it is a requirement of the role to be available for shifts Wednesday - Saturday.

Salary: A salary range from $28.29 to $29.99 per hour + superannuation

Conditions of Employment: Conditions of employment are in the Lismore City Council Goonellabah Sports and Aquatic Centre and Lismore Memorial Baths Enterprise Agreement 2015 (Agreement), and relevant Council policy, procedures and agreements.
Pre-employment Screening: Prior to employment, there will be a series of pre-employment checks that may include, health assessments, validation of right to work in Australia, validation of qualifications and licences, criminal history checks, psychometric assessments and referee checks.
Working with Children Check
In accordance with the requirement for 'Working with Children' anyone starting a new, paid job in child-related work must apply for the Working with Children Check (WWCC). This is a requirement for this position and it is the responsibility of the successful applicant to have undertaken the WWCC and the 'Clearance to Work with Children' provided to Council prior to commencement.
