If you're passionate about aviation and ready to be part of a team that thrives on excellence and collaboration, we're currently seeking a highly motivated Aircraft Structures Technician to join our team in West Kelowna, BC.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Structures Supervisor, the Aircraft Structures Technician plays a critical role in the maintenance, repair, and fabrication of structural components. As a key member of the structures team, they ensure that all structural repairs and modifications are completed in accordance with regulatory requirements, engineering specifications, and company quality standards. Their expertise in corrosion control, metal treatment, and precision fabrication will contribute to the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our aircraft structures.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN AIRCRAFT STRUCTURES TECHNICIAN
  • Design and layout structural repairs in accordance with SRM, AD, TB and engineering drawings;

  • Precisely apply corrosion control and metal treatment;

  • Execute the assembly and fitment of structural parts;

  • Meticulously craft and fabricate sheet metal parts;

  • Be prepared to apply safe work practices with proper PPE;

  • Fulfill additional duties as required; and

  • Uphold an unwavering standard of excellence that impeccably represents the Alpine Aerotech brand.

OUR MUST HAVES
  • Graduation from a Transport Canada accredited Aviation Structures program;

  • AME-S license or desire to work towards certification;

  • Valid driver's license;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to generate high quality deliverables;

  • Strong time and project management skills and self-motivation;

  • Robust interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, and professional maturity with demonstrated ability to effectively interact and build professional relationships;

  • Awareness of the sensitivity of information received and appropriate handling; and

  • Know what it means to work smarter, not harder.

The range for this role is $35.00 to $45.00 per hour.
