Are you looking for a fast-paced role where you can make a real impact? Join our team as a Picker/Packer in Baltimore, Maryland. This position is vital to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that products are accurately selected from inventory and prepared for shipment to our customers. You will be responsible for reading order tickets, locating items, picking them precisely, and then packing them securely for transit. A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to quality are essential for success in this role. We pride ourselves on a safe and supportive work environment, providing all necessary training and PPE . This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in warehouse operations and Logistics . Responsibilities:
- Receive and interpret picking lists or digital order information.
- Accurately locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse storage areas.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect items for any damage or defects before packaging.
- Select appropriate packing materials (boxes, fillers, tape) for shipment.
- Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and any required documentation correctly.
- Maintain an organized and efficient packing station.
- Assist with inventory control and stock replenishment as needed.
- Follow all company Safety procedures, including safe handling practices and Lifting up to 35 lbs.
Previous experience in a Picker/Packer role or similar warehouse environment is a plus. Must possess strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately. Comfortable performing repetitive tasks. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform moderate physical activity, including regular Lifting . A team player with good communication skills. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
